Kinja'd!!!

My search for a replacement daily driver has led me to this Bavarian diamond in the rough. Sorry for the low light potato pics by the way.

Kinja'd!!!

Its a 1983 BMW 733i with 66,000 original miles by the same dude since 1987. Best part? 5-speed manual!

It’s got some body dimples from sitting underneath a walnut tree, and the speedometer doesn’t work, and the windows don’t go up and down, but those are all problems that can be fixed. I’ve never seen an old bimmer in this good condition for what he’s asking. I will be returning to possibly pick it up after the holiday weekend, so more to come.

What do you think, Oppo ?

To fix the windows, look for the circuit breaker and reset it, should be a rectangular button, the sppedo picks up on the diff, one if the wires is probably cracked, fix it and that will work again... buy it!!!! Once youve spent the half hour worth of work it needs to be functional, you can spend the rest if the day cruising around!

Is it actually a 5 speed? The 733i’s were often 4 speeds. Regardless, it looks awesome

That’s what I’ve read about the windows. But the diff thing I haven’t heard. Thanks for the tip!
